MATCH™ Modular Armored Tactical Combat House

MATCH™ is a Modular Armored Tactical Combat House invented by Action Target. MATCH™ is a live-fire, 360 degree ballistically safe shoothouse designed for you to learn and teach close-quarter skills like room clearing and hallway navigation, all with total confidence that every round fired is being contained within its armored steel walls.

Because officers frequently encounter situations that require close-quarter tactical skills, a realistic training environment that accurately recreates those situations is critical to developing the confidence and conditioned responses an officer needs to survive. MATCH™ provides just such an environment by combining realistic walls, doors, rooms, and hallways into custom configurations that reflect the situations your officers are most likely to encounter.

Action Target MATCH Shoot House:
The Action Target Modular Armored Tactical Combat House (MATCH) is a ballistic steel inter core wall system that allows direct projectile fire into the wall systems. The interior walls can be covered with painted plywood or rubber material for bullet splatter containment during usage. The MATCH system is completely configurable and deployable and can be set up in virtually any configuration to resemble real world single, double, or even three story residential or commercial buildings. The system allows standard door openings so all common standard wood or metal doors can be used with the system. The walls are actually vertical bullet traps that are the thickness of standard construction walls and can be ordered to accommodate all handgun or even rifle usage. Realistic facades, observation catwalks, windows, blast panels, and complete security and training instrumentation can be used through out the system.

Action Target Breach Doors:
The Action Target Breaching Door is a reusable door system that can be used for thousands of forced entries with variable entry difficulty settings. The door is ideal for battering ram, explosive entry, shotgun breaching, and prying or expansion devices. One of the favorable features of the breaching door is that it can fit inside of any MATCH standard doorway entry so multiple and different placement can be performed by the tactical instructor. The Breaching Door is a great reusable tool for forced entry and indoor combat training situations.

Action Target Portable Flat Tactical Bullet Trap:
The Action Target Portable Flat Tactical Bullet Trap is a very helpful device when using the MATCH system. This small portable trap can be set virtually at any location inside a MATCH room as a target backer and projectile material collector for handgun or rifle usage. This bullet trap system saves the interior wall materials used to line the interior walls of the MATCH system and make the use of magnetic or standard cardboard targets react to the placement of shots by the shooter.

Action Target Reactive 3D Targets:
The Action Target Reactive 3D Target is a three dimensional cardboard human torso balloon target system that comes with cardboard hands of "threat or empty hands." The 3D system allows for up to three reactive balloon target cavities (head, chest, and pelvis) for advanced tactical assault drills. The targets can be dressed in clothing and used in a number of ways to give the trainer a reactive 3D target on a budget.

The Action Target products will be demonstrated using the MATCH
system under the direction of Ben Kurata, Advanced Firearms and Tactical Instructor. Ben will be using FX cartridges during entry and shooting drills. However, Ben will also be willing to demonstrate lead free frangible ammunition or other MATCH system relevant products from the exhibitors in between breaching and shooting drills.
Ben Kurata - Senior Instructor
Ben has 25 years experience in adult learning and development applied to law enforcement training and criminal justice, including 11 years of operational, management, and training experience in state, federal, and private sector criminal justice organizations. He is currently a senior instructor for the Action Target Academy.
